Excursion Etna at sunset
Afternoon excursion to Mount Etna
The guide will first pick you up from your accommodation and after that you will head for a local producer for a delicious taste of typical delicacies like honey, oil etc.
The excursion will continue with the visit of a lava cave using helmets and lamps.
You will then do some trekking through one of the Nature Paths of Etna Park around the area of Rifugio Sapienza (1900 m) through some of the recent lava flows that affected the area and enjoy a wonderful breath-taking sunset from the ancient Silvestri Craters, active in 1892 and now extinct.

At the chosen accommodation or meeting place
After crossing the border of the city you will start the ascent towards Etna, crossing some of the characteristic Etnean villages.
During the route, will be made a stop at an organic farm where you can enjoy a selection of local products.
Before arriving at the Rifugio Sapienza, the guide will make a stop at one of the most suggestive lava flow caves of the Etna Park
Once you reach an altitude of 2000mt our guide will lead you along a suggestive trekking path and together you will wait for the sunset
The tour will end at the pick-up location.
