Description
The excursion starts from an altitude of 1,923 mamsl (approximately 6,300 ft) at the “Funivia dell’Etna” departure station.
On board a special Snowcat, you reach the maximum heights of the summit area allowed by the Authorities and, as required by the current law (at present fixed at 2,900 mamsl - approximately 9,500 ft), the ascent continues led by Alpine/Volcano guides.
The activity continues with a walk of about 20 minutes, accompanied by Alpine/ Volcanological guides. In conditions of full visibility, allows you to get lost in the view of a large part of eastern Sicily.
This amazing experience will allow you to safely live a memorable adventure at a high altitude...on an Active volcano!
