Description

An approximately 6km circuit that starts from the south side of Taormina, crossing the streets of the medieval village of Castelmola and Piazza S.Antonio, through a path rich in history and traces of an ancient past.

The Mediterranean maquis already present along the path, now takes possession of the surroundings creating a mix of colors and fragrances unique in the world.

Stairs built with the typical white rock will mark the end of our climb to about 450 meters...an amazing view will embrace the east coast of Sicily.

A pleasant descent from where you can admire the Castle of Monte Tauro and the iconic church, from here you can see the necropolis of Cocolonazzo, a site of great historical importance and sign of a pre-Greek Roman civilization.
