Description
After leaving Syracuse, we will head towards mt. Etna for a suggestive trek along the southern side of the highest active volcano in Europe, making stops at specific points of interest. The guide will share many curiosities about Etna and the latest eruptions.
Once we reach 2,000 meters, at the Rifugio Sapienza, you can choose whether to hike around the Silvestri Craters with our guide or buy the High altitude option (which will allow you to reach the highest altitudes by cablecar and unimog car).
We will move to visit one of the most characteristic lava flow caves in the area.
We will finish the experience with a tasting of typical products of the Etnean territory.
