The Funivia dell'Etna is the only company authorized to provide a mechanized ascent on the south side of mt. Etna.
Get the ticket in advance and secure your seat for this unique experience, allowing you to climb up on the highest active Volcano in Europe and benefit from a dedicated line at the checkouts, by validating the QR code on your voucher..
The excursion starts from an altitude of 1,923 mamsl (approximately 6,300 ft) at the departure station.
On board a new generation cable car*, reach the upper station at 2,500 mamsl (approximately 8,200 ft), alternatively, the ascent is carried out by 4x4 buses. At this altitude you find yourself in front of a unique panorama of its kind, you can admire the Summit craters of the volcano and the Ionian coast in a single glance.
 
* In case of bad weather the ascent, instead of by cable car, would be carried out with special 4x4 buses.
