Descripción
The tour will start from the southern part of the Volcano.
 
The dirt path starts from Rifugio Sapienza hotel/restaurant (1,900m a.s.l) at 10:30 AM, please reach the meeting point 30 minutes before, it takes place between ancient craters and recent lava flows.
Arrived at Torre del filosofo at an altitude of 2,900 m a.s.l. with our Guides, you can admire an extraordinary panorama: the summit craters of Etna, the Ionian Sea and the Valle del Bove.
 
The descent will take place along a sandy and exciting track.
 
After the tour we will return to Rifugio Sapienza.

From November to March bike excursions can be made exclusively privately, on request, and may not be available for weather reasons.
