			After a short briefing with the volcanological guide, you will take the cable car up to 2,500 meters of altitude.
		
			From here, your ascent begins, a journey to discover the crater of the 2002/2003 eruption, surrounded by a lunar-like landscape of extraordinary beauty.
		
			You will then continue towards the base of the Barbagallo Craters (around 2,800 m), an exceptional panoramic point from which you can admire Taormina, Syracuse, and the Summit Craters, often characterized by a constant emission of gas and steam.
		
			The trek continues toward the most recent lava flows, reaching about 3,000 meters, in the area of the famous “Torre del Filosofo”, where a stop is planned for a light snack.

				For those wishing to go further, it is possible to reach approximately 3,340 meters above sea level by selecting the corresponding option.
			
				In this case, the tour lasts 6 hours, and after the first part of the ascent by cable car and 4x4 bus, the trek includes:
			
				Ascent: approximately 3 hours

			DIFFICULTY: Moderate. Suitable for those accustomed to walking on uneven and, at times, steep terrain.
		
			NOT RECOMMENDED for those suffering from vertigo, for people with a sedentary lifestyle, or for children under 8 years old.
